Proposal for tour guides of new Campus Center excepted by SUG board. Brothers must qualify for work-study for info booth paid.
APO brothers must do tours to get room in new union.

Second VP Report: Membership

Brothers have to ask for pledge manuals for signatures.
Review of Pledges was held before this meeting. If a pledge is caught without pin, he will have to write a letter of apology to pledge class and read it to the pledge class. He also also must perform personal service to the brother who catches him without pin.
Thursday night membership committee meeting at 10 p.m. 327 Cance.

All brothers who are 21 or can prove it, this Thursday night November 6, 1969 some girls from GSS are going to the Hutch for a few drinks. In an effort to better relationships between us, why not show up. 8:30 p.m.

Question - what is a pledge with two hours and five signatures?
Answer - Cut or extended unless his big brother starts making him move!

This is the fifth week of the need week pledge.

The pledge manual and related material has gotten underway. Joe Cosgrove, editor-in-chief, Al Baptista - photo editor, Tim Cusick - rules editor, Dave Whitney - awards editor, Buzz - chapter history: dance - national history, three Hatch - business, Bill Vigneaux - assistant editor.

In these first few weeks of work on the manual, all help from the brotherhood will be greatly appreciated. Especially, if anyone knows where ball printing could be done economically, please contact Joe Cosgrove, been Bill Vigneaux, 30 Hatch.

The following motions have come out of committee as recommendations for changes the Chapter bylaws

Move to change the title of Article VIII, Section 3 to "Committee on Membership and Pledging". ...Passed 4-2-2
Move to change Article VIII Section 3 Clause 2 to: To hold open meetings of the chapter at frequent intervals to which prospective members will be invited. ...Passed 7-0-1
Move to change Article VII Section 3 Clause 2 to: To check the qualifications and eligibility of new men and invite men fall pledge ship. ...Passed 7-0-1
Move to change Article VIII Section 3 Clause 4 to: To assist in the training of pledges in the fundamentals of APO and to assist in preparing them for active membership to the chapter.... Passed 5-1-2
